The National Marine Fisheries
Service and the Columbia River operating
agencies agreed Thursday on a
spill plan for federal Columbia River and
lower Snake River dams. The agreement
was drawn up between NMFS, the
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
the Bonneville Power Administration and
the Bureau of Reclamation and
will go into effect immediately.

amount and timing of spill for the next
