Washington Democratic Rep. Jim McDermott this week introduced the Salmon Economic Analysis and Planning Act (SEAPA), which calls for the Government Accountability Office and the National Academy of Sciences to conduct analyses of Columbia Basin salmon and steelhead recovery efforts.
