An 11th hour agreement between the Columbia River
treaty tribes and state and federal agencies, and
a coincident biological opinion, appear to have
paved the way for a smooth beginning to the
summer/fall mainstem sport and commercial salmon
fishing seasons.
Negotiations have produced an extension of the
Columbia River Fish Management Plan that allocates
