Snorkeling Survey Finds Adult Chinook Salmon In Elwha River Reach Made Accessible With Dam Removal

Two members of the Olympic National Park fisheries staff last week during a snorkeling survey found three adult chinook salmon, all between 30 and 36 inches long, in the former Lake Mills, a restored Elwha River reach that has been inaccessible for more than 100 years.
