USFWS Status Review Determines Pygmy Rabbit Does Not Warrant ESA Listing

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced Thursday that it has completed a status review, or 12-month finding, of the pygmy rabbit and concluded it does not warrant protection under the Endangered Species Act in its range in parts of California, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana.
