Proponents of removing the four Lower Snake River dams to restore salmon
began a national newspaper advertising campaign this week directed at the
Clinton Administration and Vice-President Al Gore.
A series of four full-page advertisements began Wednesday in the New
York Times. The ads, running weekly, ask Vice-President Gore to support
dam removal as the centerpiece of an upcoming salmon recovery plan from
the Administration.
