4. CRAPO BILL

Sen. Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, on
Thursday introduced a bill to place a
moratorium on the Environmental
Protection Agency’s proposed regulations
for reducing water pollution
from runoff.
The EPA rulemaking is designed
to reduce pollution from farming, logging
and urban streets, which have
not been as strictly regulated as point
sources like factories and municipal
sewage treatment plants.
