EPA SEEKS REGIONAL PLAN FOR FISH CONSUMPTION/TOXICITY ISSUE

Promoting a regional approach that would include Washington, Idaho and Alaska, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency intends to take a lead role to help resolve a dispute between the Oregon Environmental Quality Commission and the Umatilla Tribes over water quality toxicity standards and fish consumption rates.
