NORTHWEST DELEGATION FIGHTS PROPOSAL FOR BPA “MARKET” RATES

Both Democratic and Republican members of the Northwest’s congressional delegation vowed this week to defeat a new Bush Administration plan that they say could nearly double Northwest electricity rates.
