USDA Spends $300 Million On Sage-Grouse Conservation Past 5 Years; Plans Another $200 Million

The United States Department of Agriculture this week issued a report http://www.nrcs.usda.gov/wps/portal/nrcs/detailfull/national/newsroom/releases/?cid=steldevb1027671

showing that since 2010 USDA and its partners in the Sage Grouse Initiative have worked with private landowners to restore 4.4 million acres of habitat for sage-grouse while maintaining working landscapes across the West.
