USFWS PROPOSES CRITICAL HABITAT FOR CANADA LYNX IN NW STATES

The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service on Nov. 9 published a proposed rule to designate critical habitat for the federally threatened Canada lynx, including nearly 11,000 acres in the northern Rocky Mountains of Montana and 2,000 acres in Washington’s Chelan and Okanogan counties.
