Weather Data Modelers Say Now High Chance Of Northwest Moving Into El Nino In Late Fall, Winter

Equatorial Pacific surface water temperatures remain in the average range but are high enough to portend for many weather data modelers that there is a high likelihood of El Nino climatic conditions setting in over the late fall and winter, according to the monthly diagnostic discussion released Thursday by National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center and the International Research Institute for Climate and Society.
